On August 14th we turned over the boat to the new owner. It was a good 8 years spending summer on lake Erie and the Chesapeake The 14th we moved to Van Buren State Park just north of Findlay Ohio. We have been able to visit with Tyler and Jodi and family. It has worked out quite nicely. We were able to stay around to enjoy Maevis's 5th birthday
September 3rd we stayed at a winery close to Elizabethtown Kentucky called Forest edge the wine was quite good and we met up with our very good friends Jim and Kathy Rosenbalm. Jim made reservations at the Jack Daniels restaurant and it was very good. We used harvest host so the cost was three glasses of wine. We were glad to have dinner with Kathy and Jim always a good time. Our next stop was dog Creek corps of engineers campground, but we stopped at train museum on the way. I look rather comfortable driving that train We had lot 10 and dog Creek campground right next to the bathroom that was extremely clean and nice. From dog Creek it was half hour to Mammoth Cave which we had to partake.
We have lot number one at fort loramie State Park On Saturday we went to a celebration for life or my brother Jim and Jody family came to fort loramie and we let them play some at a very nice playground. We also had a very nice surprise at the memorial because friends Mary and Ron Turnanu came to show their respects. Our new camper has flow through ventilation Of course we did some geocaching and some testing of breaded tenderloins. If you ever go to Sidney Ohio you need to stop an old fashioned diner called the spot. If you look closely you can see a goat on the second to the left top window on the ledge This building has a theater on the third floor and you probably can't see it but in that Gable there's a soldier that's been standing up there and he can't figure out how to get down for years Sunday I got up and took a walk and the sun was rising on the beach. Someone had done a great job at building an Aztec type sand castle.
